New Blog!

Hey everyone!

For those that follow Hank's blog, we're moving to a different site. The new blog will be at: It's a joint blog and social networking link to our facebook and Twitter account (ours has better spelling than most).

Today's lunch includes sweet pepper and potato soup (has a bit of heat to it), and a tomato feta frittata.

9 Church st. Update!

Good Monday everyone!

Just a quick update about the goings on at Hank's and the Wine Bar. There has been, and will continue to be, some construction going on in Hank's. A new gourmet burger restaurant is opening! The Great Burger Kitchen will be joining the 9 Church place gang. It will be owned and operated by the Wine Bar and Hank's owners.

GBK uses locally sourced, naturally raised and free range beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc. Everything used is 100% from the province of Ontario.

Thursday Wash Out!

Good morning everybody,

Today the Hank's crew are serving up roasted garlic and vegetable soup to warm you up on this cold rainy day. It may be the same ingredients as yesterday's soup, but it's a brand new batch made fresh today. Hank's went through two soups yesterday (the roasted garlic AND a wild mushroom), that's why it's a repeat day. It was a soupy day yesterday!

Also, our Frittata today is also a popular hold over from Wednesday; the tomato and spinach frittata.

Be sure to drop in and see why they were so popular Wednesday (because they're good...)!

Under Construction

Good morning!

The soup of the day is a roasted garlic vegetable, and the frittata is a tomato and feta.

The restaurant is the primary stages of change. We're adding a third resto to accompany Hank's and the Wine Bar. More information to come as I receive it!
